Just a stones throw away.

The actually distance from the walkers to the cooling towers is is 20 miles in a straight line.
I like this, both sides of the environment, so to speak. Beautiful DoF.

Interesting contrast between the beauty of nature and the harshness of industry. Though those chimneys do make interesting subjects. Nicely captured 👍👍

Looks like a poster for a publicity campaign to stop industrial pollution. I'm intrigued to know what focal length you used for this... the shortened perspective would suggest fairly long?

@vignouse 164mm on a canon APS-C, and as you will know x by 1.6 = 246mm. It's quite interesting that a long lens makes further away objects larger and therefor appear closer to the subject. It's crossed my mind to go and take the same shot with a wider lens. For in reality the cooling towers are a long way from the cairn. Thank you Richard.
