The string of sunny days broke today with early morning showers, Can't say that I mind, the garden certainly needed moisture and the flowers looked pretty, even if a bit dejected, with all the rain drops.
@quietpurplehaze Oh, sorry about that. I love this present camera and I think I have only begun to scratch the surface of what it can do. I liked my older Canon 5D MK2 but it was quite large and as I'm beginning to get some arthritis in my hands, holding it, with a big lens attached, for very long was beginning to become an unpleasant proposition. The a6000 is nice but I missed some of the advantages of a full frame camera and the 6000 would accept, but not auto focus, with my Canon lenses. This one is full frame, auto focuses most of my old lenses and has very high resolution which makes cropping in post much more feasible. It's not tiny but is qute a bit smaller to hold than the 5D was. It was not cheap and, to be honest, Iit probably isn't something I would have just gone out and bought, but the camera store made me a nice deal, when I traded in my Canon and a couple of lenses I don't use much, and my husband threw in the rest of the upgrade cost as a birthday gift.
Joanne, thank you. That's interesting. The reason I chose the a6000 over a DLSR was the weight problem. I've never had a full frame camera. The price for this Sony is a bit out of my 'comfort zone' but I was interested to know what you thought of it. I'm just spending, however, a disproportionate amount of cash for a Sony RX100 Mark iv to take easily on holiday. The a6000 is probably adequate for what I want to do and I cannot compare it with full frame!! I do really like it.
