We are being inundated by birds. We have our usual sparrows, dark eyed junkos, and our resident cardinal pair, but now the robins have returned, as have a few house finches, and yesterday I think I saw a cowbird for the first time this season. Then, right around dinner time a big flock of grackles took over our back yard and the surrounding trees. I managed to get a fairly clear shot of this one among the branches. Spring is arriving in force.
