This little flower blooms on an unimpressive plant that winds its way through taller weeds, in the field beside the pond. Doesn't look like much but, when you take it in a closeup it reveals a lot of detail and interest. One of the reasons I love macro photography. The tiny florets of this remind me of Lady's Slipper orchids in shape.
