This is the top centre of my old straw hat. I guess, it's where the whole hat started from. I've owned this hat for about 20 years and it's been my constant gardening companion on sunny spring, or summer days, protecting my head and neck from those UV rays.
@koalagardens Actually itâs not washable at all. I just shake it and hang it up to air. You would think it would be kind of sweaty after all this time but it doesnât seem to be, it does allow pretty good circulation of air, which is one of the things I love about it. It does have a silk, under the chin tie thing, that I do wash.
