Sorry, all I have for today is another rose. These are hanging on with more determination than I would have expected. I guess it's because, so far, we have only flirted with frost, dipping just slightly below freezing on a couple of nights. One good hard frost will finish them off for the season. In the meantime they make a few small spots of colour in the otherwise faded garden.
How pretty. No apologies necessary for a beautiful picture of a rose. You know come mid-January we'll be craving something red or yellow or pink in the midst of all the white and grey.
@skipt07 I debated trying to brush the web off before taking the picture or editing it out after but, in the end, decided I liked it better with it. Like my garden in general it has flaws and 'bugs' but it is still beautiful.
