Fuzzy Golden Moth by gardencat

Fuzzy Golden Moth

Taken a few days ago but I'm a little slow at getting it processed so, it's just making its appearance now.
I think this is a Least Skipper Butterfly but that is just based on another 365er posting a picture that looks similar to me so, if anyone has a more definitive identification please feel free to share.
such detail and I just love that eye

great image and I'm sure that's a large skipper, but there are a few different skipper species - https://butterfly-conservation.org/butterflies/large-skipper

@shannejw Well I stopped being so lazy and actually looked up butterflies in my area and I am even more confused. I live in Ontario Canada and the large skipper is not in the list of butterflies usually found here. There are lots of other skippers however and they look very similar to one another. I think that without a picture of the top side of its wings I won’t know. I’ll keep my eyes open to see if I find it again and can see more details.
