Oh my, what a beautiful lake! And yes at first I saw an alligator with his mouth open. Smile. I just Googled this and learned it is a lake close to Lake Tahoe. I learn something everyday on this site. 😊

@louannwarren No alligator, LouAnn! Otherwise, I would not have been standing there! Yikes! I love this lake that I discovered about two years ago...off the beaten path but there is a camp ground there. We usually go up and see this lake before and after the crowds in May, before Memorial Day, or September, after Labor Day...great weather and peaceful! It is a beauty but so is Lake Tahoe too. I have taken other photos of Fallen Leaf Lake and posted information with one of them. Thank you!
