And...that is what you get at the Courtland pear fair when you buy pear pie by the slice...a quarter of a pie! It is so delicious. We bought 2 pies and 15 pounds of green and red Bartlett pears. After consuming both pies, we had delicious fresh pears over the month. Then, I made three pear crisps. Yesterday, my husband had the last of the pear crisp with vanilla ice cream. I prefer to warm it up, then cover it in whipped cream! Until next year...
