We are celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary today, September 12th. The wedding ring on my finger was made by my husband. He won the National Diamond Jewelry competition when he was 17 years old and was on the TV show, "What's My Line." They did not guess his occupation as jeweler or goldsmith. As it was a wedding set, he decided to save the ring for his future wife to be. We met when Dennis was 26 years old and got married 7 months later at The Lodge at Pebble Beach. It was an outdoor wedding, off the 18th hole of the Pebble Beach Golf Course. The champagne, hors d'oeuvres and cake reception was held in the library and on the balcony, overlooking the sea. A beautiful day.

What a beautiful photo and a lovely memory of what was clearly the best of days! I came here because it was attached to your email and I'm so glad you sent me over! I can't write a reply letter just now as we're picking friends up at the airport at noon, but leaving the house just after 8... we're *nearly* ready...or...what isn't done, probably won't be! I do need to make plans for dinner as we probably won't get home until late afternoon because of sightseeing along the way! Hope to post one photo and then over and out for a few days (probably)!
