Vision is
the art of seeing
what is invisible
to others.

I liked this capture of Katniss for green day. Best on black.
Sweet girl. Katniss knew something was up as soon as I put her in my arms. She immediately starting meowing "no." I took her to the vet today to have her nails trimmed since when she kneads me in the evening she has been leaving puncture marks on my arms and chest from her nails penetrating through my PJ's and robe. She also needed to have a "procedure" done (glands expressed). Oh my...I have never heard such sounds in my life. First, I thought there was a baby hollering in the reception area. Then it changed to very loud meowing, hissing and literally screaming! Poor Katniss!!! When they brought her back to the exam room, her eyes were wild and bugging out. She had been "violated" and didn't like it one bit. It was traumatic for both of us...yikes!
But, hopefully Katniss is more comfortable now...and she forgives me. Not sure if she will ever get in the travel crate again after this outing.
Lovely portrait, and poor Katniss! Poor you too. Gracie got a shot at the vet's once and screamed loud enough for the entire building to hear her. You have to feel badly for the little ones who don't know we're trying to help.
Beautiful photo, love your processing.
She will feel much better after that! I was told by the vet how to do it but as I valued my arms I just ask them to do the job when he gets his booster inoculations. It’s the smell that I can’t take, so musky, I’m just glad there is an easy undignified ‘fix’ for the problem!
She looks like she's glowing! I hope she's on the mend from her traumatic visit. Sometimes you just wish you had a 10 minute window where they could converse with you so that explanations could be made and the visit to the vet could run a little smoother.
Now she'll probably be terrified to go to the vet again.
