My son just put a pool in his backyard. The project was started in January and was supposed to be finished in March. It was completed in May.
It did turn out nice with a shallow wading shelf, umbrella and 3 waterfalls. Lighted stairs lead up to lounge chairs and a flat natural boulder that can be used to jump in the water.
Pools are expensive and have become quite popular since the pandemic. There is a waiting list to have one built, if you can find a company that will give you a quote.
