‘Cappy Hill’ by gavj

‘Cappy Hill’

The view from the top of Cappy Hill is is quite something. Sadly, photos never really capture the reality of it all.
The horizon that you can see is a forest called ‘ Cannock Chase’ and its stretch’s all the way from left to right. The sunset however hides it far too well.
📷I zoomed in to 85mm as a complete wideangle shot is filled with way to much clutter, like lamppost’s, aerials and other man made lights. A good depth of field to grab the detail, and a lowish ISO, to keep the exposure where I wanted it. The polariser filter helped bring out the colours with the failing light. You must get yourselves a Polariser filter, as they are amazing📷
spectacular, I've got some old film polariser filters in my "bag to tricks"
