‘Clematis Viticella’

I’m not normally a flower person, but today with the gorgeous weather and sky, this Purple Clematis was certainly making the most of it too.
📷Simply framed slightly Off-Kilter and used the f/1.7 aperture on my 20mm lens and the shutter of 4000th/s to my best advantage. Lovely colour palette to finish📷
Great dof

@delboy207 Apologies, a bit late replying to this message.
Definitely worth buying one. The image quality is still fabulous today, as it was back in 2010 when it was launched.
There is a mild 'Bandwidth' of exposure/noise you have to bear in mind, as don't forget this was the first of it's kind with a smaller sensor, but with careful use, and where you can, keep the ISO down, your laughing.
In fact, tools like Photoshop, have only got better since I first owned one of these back in 2010, and now the noise reduction tools, do a fabulous job of combating that noise/grain.
I find the camera to be the perfect blend of size and ability. I've tried Fuji's and the X100 range over the years, and always found them to be a bit of a faff to be honest. These PENS are better at being small camera's.
I've recently purchased a OMD E-M5 (The first one) and really enjoying that, mainly due to the viewfinder, but I'm on the look out for a E-P5, as that has the size benefit of the E-P1, but with the punching power of the OMD (And way better controls)
The only thing I don't like about the E-P1, is the the method of control when in manual mode (Really needs the front dial, like you find on a E-P5) and the crummy LCD, which is very low resolution (the sign of 2010 I'm afraid)
I've just got my first Body cap lens (for the size format) so look for shots on that, brilliant little thing it is too:)
I use big monster Full Frame cameras for weddings and stuff, but really do hate taking them on the streets, not because it scares folk off, but because, when you're not using the camera, they are a pain to stow away and carry, being big and heavy, hence the 4/3rd system, bravo.
Hope that helps, and look out for further shots from the PENS and OMD on this site.
Take care and kind regards
