Another special photo of my mother-in-law! I'll be leaving Winnipeg and heading back to Texas this week so I'm trying to get a few of her photos into my project while I'm still here. I know as time goes by I'll be happy I made the effort to include them. She has enjoyed jigsaw puzzles for years and always has one in progress. We've shared a lot of fun times together working on puzzles. Right after I took these shots I was back in that chair next to her trying to find pieces that fit. We're trying to finish this puzzle before I leave. :-)
Oh Gayle this warms my heart. My mom has a similar love of puzzles and when I go see her we work together on the puzzle that's in progress. We have lovely chats and I treasure our time together puzzling. Wonderful shot. .
@kategoring It's so wonderful that you have those special times together with your mother, Kate! My mother-in-law got me started on jigsaw puzzles over 30 years ago. It's one of our traditional activities every summer at the cottage. There's ALWAYS a puzzle going and when friends visit they usually sit and put in a couple of pieces. :-)
Now *that's* impressive! Here in California, I don't know many (any, actually) people who do puzzles, but up in Canada, it seems to be the way so many pass the winter! I have a best friend there whose husband is failing, but he enjoys puzzles, so only today I've sent a puzzle made of a photo I took of Lunenburg. I look forward to seeing it finished when I return!
I am well impressed! She's got it all organised there. I could see me doing that if I get to live that long. Great choice of puzzle too. Lovely capture Gayle.
I thank you for the comment on the photo of my grandmother, and I was surprised that you took the picture of your mother-in-law, they have almost the same age! I am moved to know you are so attentive and spend time with her
@jossette Thank you so much for your comment, Joss! I also thought it was very interesting that we both had pictures of our loved ones. I certainly do cherish the time I spend with my mother-in-law. :-)
@jo38 Thank you, Jo! It's almost but not quite finished. We were so busy today that we didn't have much time at all for our puzzle. It looks like she'll have to finish it alone after I leave tomorrow morning.
