Great capture! How do you get such wonderful bird shots? Do you sit quietly and wait? I feel like I need to be more patient and wait instead of seeing them and trying to then catch a good shot.

@harbie Howdy, Harbie! Thanks so much for your view, comment, and fav on my photo of this sweet mother wren. In response to your question . . . yes, I sit quietly and wait. This mother wren was back & forth, in & out of the birdhouse constantly, all day long...so I set up a lawn chair as close to the birdhouse as possible and sat very still, waiting for shots. She always lands on branches of nearby trees first, looking all around to be sure it's safe and those were the shots I wanted to get yesterday since I already had one of her feeding a baby. I'm always amazed at all the activity that takes place around me outside as I "sit quietly and wait". Before I retired, I lived a busy, fast-paced life so now I thoroughly enjoy spending hours sitting quietly in nature, observing and getting photos of the amazing beauty around me. :-)
