The White Morpho is a beautiful butterfly of Mexico and Central America, ranging as far south as Costa Rica. These butterflies are described online as being angelic and graceful with wings that look amazingly pure and even slightly translucent. The coloring is so light, you can even see the veins and spines running inside the wings, giving them their structure and shape.
Nice on black if you have time.
Thank you so much for taking the time to view and comment on yesterday's Black-crested Titmouse photo! As always, your comments and favs are very much appreciated! :-)
How pretty! These are unusual butterflies and I believe quite rare! From your tags I see you were at your world class zoo, how cool they have such a wonderful butterfly display!
