Curling Up in Martha's Courtyard

This is a stem from a bush growing in Martha's Courtyard at our school. Martha, a long-time food service director, died unexpectedly in a car accident. The courtyard was built in her memory near the cafeteria so students could sit outside and eat their lunch. It was prettier a couple of days ago but now the lower leaves are curling up, perhaps trying to stay warm due to extremely cold weather.
Great macro.

I love the colours here, and particularly like that it shows the underside of the leaves as it gives it an added quality

This is lovely, it's warm and frosty at the same time! Colours are gorgeous and I like the shapes the curling leaves are creating

Love the bright but soft colours in this. What a shame about Martha; the courtyard is a beauftiful tribute to her.
