Perhaps the butterfly is proof that you can go through a great deal of darkness, yet become something beautiful.
Since my internet was down most of the day yesterday, I spent time in my garden. I feel so blessed to have been able to spot this beauty. It's the first time I've noticed one of these red-spotted purple butterflies. I'm not sure where the name came from because its colors are blue and orange. Thanks for your generous comments on the butterfly photos I posted over the weekend. Always appreciated!
What a wonderful shot of this beautiful butterfly. I've wondered about that name, too - seems odd. I kept looking for some purple on the only one I've seen - never found any! Your focus and dof are terrific. Fav
