Exercising the Imagination

Half the interest of a garden is the constant exercise of the imagination. ~ Mrs. C.W. Earle, Pot-Pourri from a Surrey Garden, 1897

We found this interesting seed head on the Flint Hills Nature Trail this afternoon. It does spark the imagination with its interesting textures. For the black and white fortnight theme-shape. Still enjoying having our grandchildren visiting, but they go home tomorrow.
love it
