Snow Patterns

"The snow itself is lonely or, if you prefer, self-sufficient. There is no other time when the whole world seems composed of one thing and one thing only." ~ Joseph Wood Krutch

We had a bit of ice fall Sunday on top of our previously drifted snow. When I went outside early this morning, the light on the snow and ice made interesting patterns, which I thought would work for the black and white book club project this week. The focus is thinking about shape, structure, tone, volume, form, and texture.

Thanks for your views, comments and favs!
Perfect for a b&w shot - it's neat the way they make patterns.
