Flying the colors of the USA

I found this shot in the small town of Sunbury, Ohio, as I was sitting at a stop sign. All I had to do was roll down my driver side window and fire off a few quick images, didn't even have to get out of my car. Love it when that happens.
Not a pretty house, but a lovely flag ;-)

The flag really stands out - well done!

Very patriotic. The house could use a little TLC though.

@kt8ird @henrir Everyone agrees, the house is not so hot looking. Too bad.

I'm ok with the house Glover - think it has a story behind it. But I might have removed the telephone cable that runs across the image - just me being fussy tho! Great opportunity snap!

@islambad You are absolutely correct about the wire going thru the house. I edited this one in Lightroom, and I believe the Spot Removal tool there is inferior to that found in Photoshop. On this one, while in LR I tried to erase it a few times and thought the results were pretty poor, and decided just to leave it there, as it was kind of late in the evening and I needed to get to bed. Most of the time, I would go ahead and make the clean-up in PS, but after screwing it up in LR, I had had enough! I like that you took the time to make your comment though. Tells me that you care, that you believe I would accept your words in the right way, that you are interested in sharing what you can with anyone, to help improve their photography. I like that. No thin skin here, so keep it up, I enjoy other's perceptions.

@ggshearron Aww thanks for bothering to reply Glover - yes I know exactly what you mean in your editing efforts and can hear your frustrations! PS is definitely the one to chose for spot healing. I tend to start in LR and then take them through to PS if needed. :-)
