I got up earlier this morning, and was rewarded with the onset of what looked like a gorgeous sunrise on the horizon, behind the houses and over the trees behind them. I rushed and got dressed, drove the 5-6 minutes it takes to get to the marina, set up my camera and tripod and was able to get only 2 shots off before the light changed the scene almost completely. Not to worry, because this was the end result. Hope you likey!
@taffy Thanks a lot. As you know, mornings like this don't happen every day. I bet I have shot morning sunrises here 20-30 times this year, but this one is the keeper for sure. I appreciate your looking in.
oh my, what a beautiful sunrise. I've never seen one so red. I read an article recently about someplace in the East I believe where they had a really red sky and they were predicting the end of the word because of it.
@4rky@elisasaeter@haskar@henrir@space319@gardenfolk@rjb71@kipper1951@teriyakih My goodness, thanks to you all for your great comments. Like us all, I shoot most of my images for the sheer pleasure of the process, but I do love it when because of your "looks" an image makes it to the Popular or Trending Page. You continue to encourage and motivate me with your images as well, so here's to a creative 2019!
