So....what you are looking at is a SKATEBOARD RAMP!!! My 36 year old neighbor had a conversation neither me about 10 days ago... said he was gonna upgrade his ramp. The ramp he had was right outside his back door, about another 30 feet away from my house, up against the fence on the opposite side of his house, and about 6 ft long. We came home this past Saturday evening to see him and two of his buddies building THIS monstrosity in the back yard, just inside our side of the fence!!! It’s 4 ft high on both ends and the damn thing is 39 ft long! WTF!? How am I ever gonna sell my house with THAT in the yard next door, the noise from him, his buddies and soon his daughter band her pre-teen friends is going to be crazy! My wife and I are beside ourselves to say the least.
You might have to do some detective work with your zoning board or town council but I'm sure there are some restrictions for that kind of structure and activity in a residential neighborhood. Good luck!
I am sure that legally he has no right to put that thing up! At least in most other countries I know it would be forbidden! You'd better have a go at him!
Oh, I am so sorry. We have a child's jumpy right outside our bedroom window thanks to the neighbors. But the thing they built next to you is much worse. Such a beautiful neighborhood too. Do you have a homeowner's association?
