102nd

Been awhile. Things don't always go as planned, that's the joy of life I suppose. Thought I'd stop in and wish everyone happy holidays (unless you're atheist... then... well... continue to enjoy everyday).

Cellphone shot from the 102nd floor of the Empire State Building.

They say beyond that beautiful horizon, there lies a magical place, a land lined with gold, where rainbows are born.... New Jersey. ;)
Great capture, pov, light

This is beautiful. Love the mood and light. Though I’ve lived in New York for the past 25 years, I was born and lived in Jersey for 17 years...so I got nothing but ❤️ For NJ.

@fauxtography365 Thanks T. NJ is one of those places that you have to live there to really appreciate it.

I love everything about this photo!

@kklinck99gmailcom Thank you. I'm amazed it's actually came out. The glass/plexiglass on the top observation deck is thick and scratched, weather beaten. And the setting sun was creating all sorts of strange reflections on the glass.

I’m guessing you’re from New Jersey! Also didn’t you used to be on this site along time ago?

@grammyn Hey Katy. Yes... born and raised. And I did. I'm been on this site for over 5 years I think. I'd complete a year, take some time off, complete another year, repeat, etc.

This is so wonderful - a beautiful view (and that is saying a lot coming from a country girl who much prefers a skyline without buildings, lol!)
I like how you pop in once in a while. I noted that you say you complete a year, take some time off, and repeat. Hopefully 2019 is a year that you complete a year.
Am following you and would love to see more!
