We have a "family" of 8 Bronzewings that visit us every afternoon. They all take turns in having a drink from our bird bath whilst chatting amongst themselves. This one was on the back fence when the wind caught his feathers and blew them in different directions - showing off his magnificent colours on his wings. Whilst some people think that they are just your average pigeon, you can't call them average with such glorious colours to show off!
