@hermann Thanks. he wasn't startled, he was keeping an eye on me! @junep@thresheg@fjmom Thanks for great comments and favs @denisefuller Thanks. I'm sure he'd take a photo too to use in evidence of me in his territory! @dollycreek Thanks. And our weather is going to deteriorate as the week continues! @teiko Thanks for the fav. They might be nice to cuddle but you'd have to watch those hind legs! @kareenking Thanks. Might be odd to see one in Kansas! @skipt07 Thanks Sip. We are actually
in the middle of winter here, so yes he has his winter coat on! @ladymagpie@lindacarol@elisasaeter Thanks for all your wonderful comments :) @gigiflower Thanks Sam. He certainly was watching me and another lady. Once we started talking and took our eye
s off him, he disappeared into the bush as quick as a flash :) @pyrrhula Thanks. Yes he was a good model standing up so straight :) Thanks for fav too
Reminds me again why I absolutely love 365.org - the many fabulous shots from all over the world that I'd never get to see but as a drawing in a book. He is so cute!! I love the way he is looking right at you.
@milaniet Thanks. This is the same reason I so enjoy 365, we get to see so many different places, animals, birds, flowers etc that we otherwise would never see or hear about. Thanks :)
@eyesmile Thanks Gena- thought someone might ask! Kangaroos are much larger (height up to 2mts (7-8 ft), weight up to 90 kgs) while the wallaby is up to height-80cms (2'8") and weight 24kgs. Kangaroo's legs are also much longer and oversized - specially between knee & ankle. This is for speed in open country. And finally wallabies are brighter in colour having 2 or 3 different mixes, while the kangaroo is more uniform and muted. Hope this helps you next time you wander past one :)
