This is really Cultural Day 2 but I preferred the other title! Spring seems to have disappeared! Today my sister and I visited the Art Gallery to see the exhibition "Wunderkammer." Rod McRae uses taxidermy as his form of art to make statements on the environment and climate change debates. NO animals were killed for this exhibition, but retrieved from natural deaths.
@gigiflower It certainly looked beautiful, but that was the one thing we couldn't do - DO NOT TOUCH! But we were allowed to take photos luckily :) @darthkitty Would have loved a kiss :) @peterlgrave Yep! Sure was stuffed :) @hermann Not rod :) @denisedaly Thanks Denise from another Denise :)
@radiogirl wow that must've been some exhibition. I would love to say something like that.. I love the photo I didn't realize that it was taxidermy. The bear looks so real so alive.
@milaniet@hellie@radiogirl@pyrrhula@janiskay@lealady Thanks all for your visits and great comments. He was truly adorable and I would have loved to bring him home to add to my bear collection :) @ladymagpie He gave me many bear facts that I didn't know before :) @terryliv Very frozen, but his fur kept him warm :) @kathiecb Pity he was stuffed, but if he wasn't I don't think I'd be that close :)
