I saved a fish today! by gilbertwood

I saved a fish today!

I was busy photographing this pretty(?) pink algae (that's what I think it is) which is growing on one of the creeks in our Lake Pertobe area when I saw this fish! A quick photo and then I found a long stick and poked a hole through the algae and he swam away. Something different :)
Well done for saving the fish. Lovely shot. It must be a fishy day today because I posted photos from the aquarium in Canberra.

I have just checked out some of your photos which I missed over the last two weeks, but am on catch up today, so can't comment on all of them.

Nice to hear of someone actually helping a fish back into the water instead of dragging it out! Well done you!

I can just picture the little fish swimming about, excitedly telling his harrowing story and how a lovely lady came to his rescue. The algae he was marooned on is sure pretty.
