These two magpies were singing their hearts out as the stole threads from the rope holding the plant to the balcony! This was happening at my friend's house today when I was supposed to be photographing her dogs :) Tomorrow?
Super capture. Fav.
Apologies for not commenting recently but there was entertainment every evening; wifi was sporadic in Dorset and the clutch on my car died an honourable death! All back to normal for. Few days so time to catch up.
@ceilidh Welcome back :) @gijsje@sangwann beware of the barking dogs :) @onewing yes they are very busy building their nest. That's why they're stealing her rope threads :)
Yessssssssssssssss MAGPIES, one for sorrow, two for joy. They look very different to out Magpies. Have I told you that I always salute magpies when I see them and wish them good morning or afternoon out loud, I get a few looks. Has to be a FAV.
Double trouble, or two for joy depending on the way you want to look at it! As Margaret said your Magpies are quite different to ours. Great shot Denise.
