While walking around the river at Ocean Grove I found a group of sweet little birds in the mud flats. I had to look them up when I got home and was excited to find out they are Sharp-tailed Sandpipers who come to our shores from Siberia for our summer :)
What a pretty little bird and you've captured it beautifully. I love the reflection. How amazing that it travels so far. It seems to go from one extreme to the other.
After the Winters they have in Siberia I'm not surprised it comes to you for a holiday, I'm thinking of coming over myself if the snow gets bad. Lovely birdie pic.
