My walking companion today

While walking along the beach walkway today, an echidna came over and joined me for awhile - long enough to get a few photos :)

@rickster549 No Rick, they are quite timid animals and hide very quickly - I was very lucky with this one! He was on his way to the sand dunes - an echidna on a mission! I usually see about 2 a year :)
