A butterfly entered my house and landed on the painting of my favourite penguins. Can you see it too? The painting is done by local artist Robert Ulmann (now deceased) who became very famous for his wildlife paintings. And no, I didn't set it up!! I then ushered it outside after I took the photo :)
Your butterfly stands out well against that wonderful painting DEnise, I did not know of this artist but looked his work up, he had an interesting life and produced some wonderful sculptures and paintings:)
@pcoulson Yes Peter, he was an amazing man. Warrnambool has several of his paintings and sculptures around which is great. I luckily have 2 of his paintings. We were neighbours for some time and his sense of humour was amazing too. It was nothing for him to have an orphaned possum in his jumper at any time!!
