The Killarney cricket club, where my husband played have created a shield in Peter's memory. It is to be presented annually when this club plays against Panmure, which is where Peter was heavily involved in the football club (and near where we lived). Three children and I (and newborn Rafferty) were there for the inaugural presentation. And they had a beer for him too :)
@gigiflower Lovely to hear from you Sam :) I'm missing you!! @pcoulson Good of you to notice the "stubby" holders as we call them, but you forgot to look at the clothing - jumpers, vests, scarves - it was very cold!!! The cricket ground is just over the sand dunes from the beach - an aerial shot would be magnificent! We all decided we needed a cricket club holder so that's why we bought them :)
