My mother taught me to sew

Here are my mother's and my toy sewing machines from our childhoods that I still treasure. These would be around 90 and 60 years old!! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY :)

Beautiful treasures although they look a lot older than that! Do they still work, I have one that is over 100 years old, it has a long shuttle not a circular one. My dad bought my mam it some 60 odd years ago , it was old then and called The Empress, I treasure mine too.

My mother had one like the one on the left, and she passed it down to me. I will probably pass it down to one of the grandchildren--I have two who like to sew, one of them a boy!
