Today we took a dear friend out to Port Fairy - her first big outing since becoming ill in January. I have been helping to care for her and her dogs as her illness escalated in April - she has no family left. We still have many hurdles to go but it was such a memorable and enjoyable day today. And it was her idea to drive into this beach as we spotted the rainbow from the highway!
We had a similar day to you. We took a friend of ours to Boat Harbour today to see if we could spot any whales. It was a wild day and we saw a faint rainbow in the distance over the ocean.
Our friend moved here from Canada after she divorced her husband and although her daughter is here she still gets lonely. We had a lovely afternoon warming up with hot chocolate and cake after nearly getting blown off the cliffs.
Even though the weather looks rather chilly there is a little ray of hope off in the distance. Quite a moving picture.
