Had another rushed trip to Melbourne yesterday (at least i went on the train this time!) so mad sure I went and saw the Myer Christmas window display. It is up to it's 65th display and it did not disappoint! It was May Gibbs' Gumnut Babies and so well done! There is 5 windows with a different theme in each. Each year there is usually a child's story book as the theme. May Gibbs created the Gumnut babies in 1917 and they have never looked back since!
I remember going to Boston to see the window displays. I wonder if they still do them. The store here went all out with decorations but I don’t see it today unless I go to the Mall. Wonderful window!
