Sea, Smoke & Sunset

There was an eerie sunset last night as our part of Victoria filled up with smoke from the bushfires 1000's of kilometres away. The good news is the east coast is now receiving a great amount of rain which hopefully will put an end to this disaster.

i remember that eerie light from our visit to sydney over christmas - have found it difficult to describe to people as i haven't seen anything like it before. very glad to hear that there's some rain on the way beautiful image

Oh the smoke from those fires has spread over a lot of the earth. This is a good photo of that phenomenon.
