I summonsed up the brolly girls for lunch on Saturday as the weather was exceptionally warm for winter, and corona virus was rearing it's ugly head. We had a play on the beach before heading home to hear our distressing news to brace for lockdown again!!
Glad you had a get together and so sorry that you are heading into Lockdown again, this really is an evil virus! We've been doing "reasonably" well, considering the size of our population but I think it's possibly going to go pear shaped again, the case numbers are on the rise!
Hopefully it won't be too long before the brolly girls can get back together again.
Our U3A started up again a few weeks ago and only lasted two days because we had a visitor from Sydney to our area and brought the virus with him. Luckily they isolated quickly but our local shopping centre, high school and one of the day care schools had to be deep cleaned. Only 7 people infected so far but as soon as we get visitors here it doesn't take long for the virus to take hold again. Stay safe Denise.
What a great spot for the shot with those wonderful waves rolling in. I'm afraid of what is going to happen here when school starts up in 3 weeks - got to be awfully worrisome for anyone in education. And our numbers keep rising.
