On our trip we crossed over 3 very old bridges and alongside a fourth. 1. Redesdale Bridge 1867. A two lane made of iron lattice truss and bluestone. Still in use today.
2. Old wooden bridge over the Campaspe River near Nagambie - not in use today.
3. Kirwan's bridge 1890 near Nagambie, The longest (310 metres) timber bridge in Victoria with a unique bend in it. In 1955 the second lane was abandoned and it is now a single lane bridge with 2 passing bays.
4. Spring creek bridge on the Gorge road at Beechworth
