Today was the Melbourne Cup race day here and their slogan for the races is "The race that stops a nation." (There is a public holiday in Melbourne) However due to the pandemic there were no spectators last year and this year it was the first public event with 10,000 spectators (usually 100,000!) At least it is a start out of all lockdowns, therefore the new slogan :) And we can now gather at a friends house (10 only) to watch it on TV. The brolly girls had fun :)
