This little dress dates from around 1908/1909. It was handmade by my great aunt. The labels stitched onto the front of the dress read:
Annie Rogers. Age 10 years. St Columb. Materials cost 6 1/2d.

Annie was my grandfather's elder sister. Sadly, she died on 1st April 1913 aged 14 years. My grandfather must have kept the dress as it was found in the attic of his house in Cornwall many decades later and passed on to me.
