The grass is greener... by girlie

The grass is greener...

Have been driving for 8 hours today, visiting my son and grandson on the Northern Tablelands. On the way home, was pretty sure I wouldn't have a photo for today when I saw these horses, knee-deep in a dam munching grass through the fence; proof that the grass is always greener on the other side.
Beautiful horses...lovely picture!

re your comment: the two people responsible for his death are from our town and graduated from my kids high school...the girl was a bully. she had a confrontation with my own daughter earlier in the year and was bullying her on FB. There are so many cyber bullies now...It is a very different world than the one we knew! Sadly.

who knows....with the way the legal system is they will probably get away with it. I think the most they were being charged is 5 years in jail for distributing porn (which is illegal in our state). there will be new laws written because of this case. right now they are considered pirayas in our town!

Oh, this is a wonderful photo! The grass looks incredibly green on their side...but I suppose like the rest of us, they just can't appreciate that fact!

Great title...and proves that old axiom is true - the grass is greener over there! Wonderful shot!

Haha, I like this shot a lot. Very clever title.

They know good grass when they see it - even if they have to stand in water to get it.

Thanks for all your great comments, everyone. @Yoella, yes I'm sure they're okay in the water. They all galloped out and across the field towards the house after a while. @Moray: We've had so much rain for the past year or so that everything is very green.

Great photo! You would have thought the horses would have stood further up where there was no water but then I guess they are lower down if they stand in the water and can get their heads under the fence!

Thanks Robin! I wish I new what the S sign means...I saw it on quite a few graves. I'm going to have to research that symbol.
