'Just ignore them and they might go away!'

I came across these rainbow lorikeets and galahs on my afternoon walk. The two lorikeets were having an almighty disagreement accompanied by a lot of screeching, and I was amused by the way the two galahs just went about stolidly snacking on the clover seed, ignoring their neighbours' domestic. Sorry about the quality of this shot but I was a fair distance away and had to zoom with my P&S.
Ha ha, aren't they just like people sometimes!? Brilliant capture!!!

what beautiful colors!!! it's a rainbow of birds!! great capture.

re your comment: my husband said the same thing but there were many tombstones with that dollar sign type of S around. unrelated graves, different names. I think it's some type of Masonry crest. I will speak to the grounds keeper and ask him next time I'm there. It will drive me nuts till I find out what it stands for!!!

Thanks for your lovely comments, everyone! @Moray, undoubtedly a pair; she seemed to be resisting his advances; @Bill, that's funny; must have been someone's escaped pet.

Thanks Robin...I didn't think anyone would comment since I've been putting up all these graves but I got so many beautiful shots at the Princeton Cemetery. I spent 2 hours there just walking and shooting...very unique place...lots of history. I'm a big history buff. Anyway, I was thinking that I'm going to lose my followers if I don't put something happy for a change.

How nice to find 2 different birds in the same patch of grass. I can almost hear those 2 lorikeets squabbling - as long they don't do their projectile emission, I don't mind them -such pretty birds!
