@ldpaul There was no relief at night, which is the worst part of a heatwave like that. We're lucky being on the ocean; inland it has been getting up to 45 degs in many places.

@miraries Thanks, Miriam. It's close to Myall Lakes NP, not strictly within it. The cabbage tree palm forest is in Booti Booti NP, about an hour's drive from this spot.
