It's a bug's life

Here's another milkweed shot, following on from my last one at http://365project.org/girlie/365/2013-02-04 This one has lots of Small Milkweed Bugs working away at the juicy insides and outside of its pod, while there's just one tiny seed remaining on the end of its 'parachute' all ready to fly away and take root somewhere else.
So beautifully captured! Love the focus and also bokeh.

What a grand shot! I found these little bugs last year, but I don't think our milkweed looks like this plant at all. . .I'll really have to be on the lookout if we EVER make it out of the snowy season.

Wow this is great! Thanks for directing me here. It's interesting to see that this exact same beetle lives continents away in a place as biologically isolated as Oz. Good job, and thanks so much for all the comments. :)
