This is what I got when I stuck my camera into a large cavity at the base of a tree and took a shot using the flash. I DID remember to waggle a stick around in there to make sure it wasn't full of bees. :-D

@deens Glad I'm not the only one who can be seen wiggling a big stick inside of of a great tree cavity. :-D I am very much at ease in the natural world, but also vigilant. @mwarren365 Hiya Mike, and lots of thanks. This tree is alive and well (and HUGE) after the storm, but it does have a pretty obvious infestation of Carpenter Ants - that's where the "sawdust on the bottom comes from. Be very well, Les
