Lovely aussie landscape Marnie. We're in Scandinavia at the moment - way up past the Arctic Circle - not a tree of any sort in sight!

Beautiful black and white. It accentuates the trees against the sky. Enjoy your time with family!

@julzmaioro Thanks Julz, it's great to have time with family, my lot all live a fair way from my part of the world.

@ethelperry We went there last time I was here, very interesting. We're going into Bendigo this arvo, but will probably stick to the mundane shopping. I brought Maggie with me, and she's being a pain. I'd forgotten but a one of Rob's horses attacked her a couple of years back and she's terrified at the very sight of one no matter how far away.

@dide It's always lovely to get out of town for a while and spend time with my far-flung family.

@gilbertwood I haven't been up here for a while except on day trips. Good to spend time with my daughter.

@gilbertwood I guess you were pretty fully occupied on your trips up here Denise. I'm enjoying spending some time out of town, despite the frosts we've had the past two nights.

This is how I imagine Australia to look like only with a few cities dotted about ... enjoy your stay, it looks beautiful

Great shot and processing.

@fbailey Our landscape is extremely varied with around 80% being desert or semi-arid. The eastern seaboard and southwest are where the population's concentrated, mostly in our state capital cities. Ever since white settlement Australia has been one of the most highly urbanised countries in the world, the corollary of which is, of course, lots of open space elsewhere

@haskar Thanks Haskar, I love being in wide-open spaces. I really don't like cities.

Does look to be a very relaxing place to explore. Love the B&W.

@joysabin It is, but my dog was being a real pain in the posterior.
