Plenty of ventilation

Old stone cottage on my daughter's property. Apologies for my lack of comments lately, crazy busy, will do my best.

Love everything here, the b&w, the light, the textures, the angles - very nice! Nearly forgot to mention the framing:)

A gorgeous image. Reminds me of the Central Otago buildings.

Looks great, love the old stone work.
Do you have any history on this cottage?

Great black and white shot! It reminds me of one I posted last month- although we were definitely not in the same place!

@fbailey Thanks FB, it's a tiny cottage but full of possibilities for photographers.

@dide That's interesting Dianne. I guess it's a typical early settlers' cottage made from what was available on-site.

@maggiemae Must confess I haven't ventured down there at night, but you could well be right.

@taffy Thanks Taffy, a tiny cottage, but so full of photographic possibilities. I could spend hours down there, but my daughter had driven me there and was getting bored. It's on their land, so can re-visit any time.

Some skilled stonework here - is the building recoverable?
