Down by the riverside

Taken a couple of mornings ago on our morning walk.
What a wonderful shot and scene, love your dog coming to fetch you.

@ludwigsdiana Oh yes, she's a rescue dog and never gets far away. If I get out of sight round a corner there'll be a head poking round that corner in no time.

Remind me a song about being alone and free

How lovely that Maggie is able to walk freely without being on a leash.

Beautiful light and shade! Maggie absolutely makes the shot! Well done that dog! 😂😂

Beeeeyoutiful. I wonder how you managed to get Maggie to stay behind you , to get the shot. It looks like a Sheoake path. Bliss.

@dide Yep, it's one of several good walks round here. We're very fortunate to live so close to lots of open public spaces.
August 29th, 2020
@onewing Shhhh, she's 'sposed to be on a lead there!
August 29th, 2020
@pamknowler Thanks Pam, I thought you'd like that shot.
August 29th, 2020
@marlboromaam It was a beautiful morning and the light was just-so.
August 29th, 2020
@gilbertwood Thanks, I appreciate that.
August 29th, 2020
@jgpittenger I had a feeling you'd like that shot. :)
August 29th, 2020
@ethelperry You're right, of course, that part of the river path passes through a bunch of sheoakes. Maggie is well in front of me, she's just coming back from round that corner to check where I've got to. I'd stopped to take the shot and she couldn't see me > much anxiety.

I love this -- great scale, wonderful contrast of the dark and light. Instant fav!!

It looks so peaceful and a splendid place to walk.

This is a wonderful shot! Great, this bright accent in the extensive shadow. And it's in the right place. It has to be a very pleasant walkway.
You have a really pretty dog. I am convinced that she is a charming photo model as well in a format-filling picture.

Go Maggie. She adds such a sense of scale - and she just looks so darn determined. :)

@momamo @salza Yes, certainly a lovely walk on a nice day.

@robz Oh yeah, well-trained to be in just the right spot - not!! Or not usually, more like photo-bombing usually.
September 4th, 2020
Great shot- I like how your dog stands out among the scenery.
